How to install

I. Paper Backing

  1. Clean the pre-installed area by vacuum cleaner or sweeping to remove grit and dirt. The subfloor surface must be smooth, flat, and dry.
  2. Starting from any corner of the room. Lay the vinyl sheet on the floor by allowing approx 1.5 - 2 inches of the edges, both width-wise and length-wise, lapped over the wall (PIC #1)
  3. Lay the next vinyl sheet on the floor by letting the edge of the sheet lapped over the previous one (PIC #2). The overlap is approx 1 inch. Be sure to match the pattern repeat of each vinyl sheet (PIC #3). Continue the same process until the whole area is filled up.
  4. Use the sharp cutter blade to cut out all corner overlaps (PIC #4). For the overlapped part of each vinyl sheet. Cut on the center of the overlap and take out the remnants from cutting (PIC #5).
  5. Starting from the corner, flip the vinyl sheet over and use a notched trowel to spread the water-based flooring adhesive onto the subfloor ; wait for 10 - 15 minutes, then lay the vinyl sheet on the floor and press it thorougly with thick cloth to remove the air-bubble underneath in order to secure the adhesiveness (PIC#7). Continue the same process on the next sheet until finish
  6. Seal the same with alpha-cyanoacrylate or any other seam-sealing adhesives (PIC #8).
  7. Avoid heavy traffic or heavy rolling loads or any type of maintenance procedures on the installed floor until the adhesive has cured for a minimum of 3 days.

II. PVC Backing

  1. Follow the same process as paper backing from step 1 to step 4.
  2. Flip the vinyl sheet over and stick the double faced adhesive tape around the permeter of the subfloor by leaving the gap of approx 1 cm. from the wall, and at the seams, stick the tape as shown in (PIC #9)
  3. Lay the vinyl sheet on the adhesive taped floor, and seal the seams with alpha-cyanoacrylate or any other seam-sealing adhesives (PIC #8).
